Last day in Revelstoke
Today is my last full day in Revelstoke. I've got to drive down to Seattle tomorrow which will take me most of the day. I just hope it's not going to be bad weather on the way. I went fishing with my cousin Chad yesterday on a stretch of the river nearby. We caught one almost straight away - a 3 and a half pound "Dolly" trout. I figured we'd probably catch more, so we let it go...oops! We didn't catch any more after that.
On the way back, Chad drove us over to a little creek where the Kokanee (a type of small salmon) were returning upstream to spawn. The creek was filled with these little bright red fish swimming upstream.
When I got back to Henry's we had the salmon I caught in Vancouver. It was hands down the best salmon I've ever tasted. Here are a few photos from yesterday.
If you enlarge the picture and look at the bottom left, you can see the Kokanee

The camera doesn't really do the scenery justice

More scenery
and again...the river this time.
