More Cape Town goodies
We had a nice lie in this morning...the people who are on Breakfast duty in the restaurant at the hotel must hate us. That's two mornings in a row we've swanned in at not much to 11 and sat down for breakfast.
We went for a drive around the peninsula South of Cape Town which incorporates the Cape of Good Hope. Contrary to popular belief, the Cape of Good Hope is not actually the Southernmost point of Africa. It only ranks as the South-Westerliest point. Still, it is the point where the Atlantic and Pacific meet. We had a nice seafood lunch somewhere on the Pacific, and then watched the sun set on the Atlantic. In between I swam with some penguins...they're pretty cute but their beaks are pretty mean if you got *too* close I'd imagine.
Pictures below...
Sunset over the whispering grass
Sunset and a bit of an aura
Sunset and some nice water patterns
Along the coast road
Same
What the sign says...
Penguins!
More penguins and mum and I
A big seal
Me watching the seals
Lunch!
Looking down over Cape Town
A seal
Cape Town by night
