Surf's up...

Byron Bay is a pretty cool place. It's favoured by hippies both young and old, and you could see yourself easily losing a decade here without realising it. The lifestyle is very laid back - it's all about the surfing. You walk down the street and every second car has a surfboard strapped to its roof. A bunch of us went for a surfing lesson today - it's pretty tricky and fairly tiring, but I did manage to stand up on the board a few times. I even have photographic proof.

Who'da thunk it eh? A surfing lawyer... Still, I don't think I'm quite good enough to consider surfing as an alternative career. Tonight is our last night on tour and then we drive to Sydney tomorrow, so it's probably going to be a fairly big night tonight.

It's kind of strange to think that I'll be back in London and in the office in a little over 2 weeks. Still, I have South Africa to look forward to still, so it's not over til it's over.

Here photos...enjoy.
