Ushuaia pictures (sorry no cow)

Here are a bunch of pictures from the past few days. I was stupid and forgot to take a picture of the cow hide before it got folded up (well actually I was still debating whether to buy it or not while they were keen to show me how small it would fold up). I did however find thanks to Gabi, TWO more Irish pubs, putting paid to the theory that the one in El Calafate was the only one in Patagonia...

Pictures are below.

A HUGE beaver dam

A smaller one

Insert some dam joke here

Snow in the mountains

The convict train we were on

Lots of dead tree stumps from where the convicts got the lumber

Another waterfall

I'm running out of captions here...

A sign at the end of the world..

Gabi in the train fiddling with her camera

Is it Irish, English or Gibberish?

Gabi down by the harbour

The sign culprit...Galway genuine Irish pub...

pics are a bit crap because I had to shrink them to upload them...so the quality suffered.

I should now be on a proper connection from here on, so hopefully I'll be able to upload them at full size and only have a bit of quality loss when blogger alters them
